This is a little PanelingTools/rhino/3dstudio/HDR experiment. The panelingtools part was quick and very straightforward, then I dropped it into a home made HDR dome environment in 3d studio and applied a translucent material to the tubes.

I’ve no idea what its meant to be, just a result of getting carried away with panelingtools!

    Hi AZ, thanks for dropping by.

    process… well, first I had the idea to make something with cylinders and panelingtools, then I made a random shape and applied the tubes to it, the exported it to 3dsmax and lit it with a home made 360degree HDR photo, then comp’d it into photos of the same forest scene in photoshop.

    If you want any of the stages explained in more detail just ask!
